Roman Catholic view: Faith (self produced) + Works = Justification. The Biblical view: Christ = Justification + Works. The Christian's faith is non-meritorious, and his good works are non-meritorious yet both are absolutely necessary. The efficacy is entirely in Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith.

He has some of the truth. Almost there R.C. I actually saw his last sermon at St. Andrews preached but his ministry falls short. Justification by faith alone doesn't cut it. Faith + Works = Justification. R.C. liked to say we are justified by faith alone but we possess a faith that is not alone? Think about that....say what? He likes to preach that a genuine faith that justifies will lead to works (good works of course) so then tell it like it
is! Faith + Works = Justification. It's ok if his congregation doesn't know any better or someone listening to this doesn't but if you know better
that faith alone doesn't justify then you would be quick to get deeper into the truth. A partial truth is a lie. God Bless.
