The more I get closer to God, the more I see my sinfulness (even as one saved). The more I see my sinfulness, the more i see my need of a Savior. Jesus is my only hope. Mercy is all I can pray for. Thank the Lord for his grace.😢

YES we are SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH..BY CHRIST'S PERFECT sacrifice for our THE CALL TO FAITH ALSO INCLUDES A CALL TO REPENTANCE, it's ALL through the New Testament...granted a repentant Christian doesn't live a life of sinless perfection.... "For we all stumble in many ways" James 3:2 If there is NO repentance in one's life there is no eternal security...many Scriptures that state this truth.

The English word "BELIEVE" (verb) in the Spiritual context and meaning is like a Collective Noun (ex. Family, Company, Choir, Herd, etc.) which comes with 3 Components for the Salvation of Mankind, "By GRACE of God through FAITH in Christ Jesus that manifests in good/righteous WORKS."

Therefore, in conclusion, the Spiritual Formula/Equation for Mankind Salvation is... [ GRACE (+) FAITH (x) WORK (=) SALVATION ]... (ref. John 3:15 / 3:36 / 11:25-26 /James 2:1-24 )...

While St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians and Romans (ref. Eph. 2:8-9 / Rom. 3:20) means that "Personal WORKS (Efforts) ALONE" and "WORKS of the LAW" can not SAVE us... But for our Personal "WORKS" (efforts) to be accepted as Righteous in the Eyes/Sight of God... "WORK" must come first with "GRACE" of/from/by God through "FAITH" in Christ Jesus...

That is the ORDER of SALVATION (Grace, Faith, and Work) for Father God/YHWH is a "God of ORDER" and not of Chaos or Confusion... (ref. 1 Corin. 14:33)...

Facts and Truth, Biblically and Logically speaking... Praise be to God in Christ Jesus... Amen.

10:04 why did you guys not include Paul Washer's discussion on Jesus saying "the way is Hard that leads to eternal life and few be it that find it."

Faith in Jesus entails doing what Jesus [who you believe (put your faith) in] teaches, which ultimately leads to "acta non verba" - Doing the Father's will. Faith without works is dead, people!

The Apostles and the Early Church Fathers never had an issue with James 2:24-26 (NRSV) until some demon possessed university professor(s) were obsessed to rebel.

We have heard it a million times: we are saved by faith alone. That statement is nowhere found in scripture. The scriptures never even say we are justified by faith alone. Justification is what brings salvation as we are declared righteous because of Christ's shed blood. When we trust in Jesus and believe in his name, we are made right with God. We are justified of all that the law could not justify us from.
However, the scripture states that we are not justified by faith alone. Therefore, salvation cannot be a once for all single act of faith in a moment of time. The scriptures everywhere teach that salvation is a process involving not just justification but also sanctification and glorification.
That single act of justification in a moment of time brings the forgiveness of sin and puts a person into Christ. They have passed from death to life. As long as they remain in Christ, they will be sanctified and eventually glorified. As Jesus said, those who endure to the end will be saved.
