Like our counter to osoto, very talented people *have* actually done this at high levels of elite tournament play. But it comes with too many risks for the rest of us to use it live. Know that it’s possible but stick with your standard hip-in counters instead. Or just hit a clean breakfall 😉

That is cool, one that i use a lot of a very sambo specific counter. As soon as you feel him lifting you, grab his opposite shoulder and basically throw him over your hip as you land.
There a much brutal version, instead of grabbing the shoulder, you do a chin strap instead and basically the harder he throws, the more his neck is twisted
