The group policy changes you made at the beginning did not get applied to the system until the initial reboot. You could've tried gpupdate /force from a command prompt to apply the gp edits, otherwise you'd at least need to logout and back on for the gp edits to get applied. Hope that helps. during bitlocker encryption if usb drive is removed for a second and then inserted back does it encrypt usb?in my case usb wasnt remove from the port but encrytion windows vanished in some 43% then i pushed usb .it again started and completed.so i want to ask was my usb encrypted as i lost it aftr that and i didnt check it at all.
