45-Min Total Body Strength Training (No Weights, No Jumping!) | Joanna Soh

Yes, you can strength train at home WITHOUT any weights. We want to use our own body as resistance. This is a 45-Minute Total Body Strength Training Workout. We'll be working on your lower body, upper body and abs!

There will be a total of 4 sets. The aim is to complete 20 reps for each exercise in the 1st set, 15 reps in the 2nd set, 10 reps in the 3rd set and only 5 reps in the final set.

Exercises:
1) Lateral Squat Walk
2) Lunge to Curtsy
3) Narrow to Wide Push-ups
4) Superman Squeeze to Plank
5) Single Leg Lunge
6) Heel Touch Glute Bridge
7) Dolphin Push-up
8) Plank Up-Down

Estimated Calories Burned: 300 - 400Cals

Let’s do this together! *Fun fact, I actually did 5 sets while filming, cause my mic got disconnected half way through, so I totally feel your soreness, but if you keep this consistent, at least 2-3 times a week, I promise you’ll only get stronger and leaner! 💪

If anyone scrolling through the comments for results, trust me this is gonna work. It's not like any a week or two workout where you gonna tone up temporarily. I did this and am still doing this. Love for Joanna

So I've been working out and making better choices with food for about 10 days and I feel so so good. I already see a big difference but I promised myself I wouldn't put too much pressure on myself this time, so I gave into my cravings tonight. I'm trying to not feel guilty and sort of just trying to tell myself "hey.. your doing good. You deserve a treat tonight". You guys feel me?

Joanna Soh will always be my favorite fitness buddy in youtube. She really helped me to be leaner and motivated while working out. You just cannot hate her voice and encouragement though you are literally dying working out.

Joanna, I tried this workout one month back for the first time and I couldn't complete all 4 reps.Since then I have been working out 5-6 times a week and surprisingly today I tried this workout again and I could complete all 4 reps:) I am glad :) I wish to see more such long duration Strength training videos :)

i literally almost cried doing this workout. this is my first day doing it and i can only do the first rep with a lot of breaks. i couldnt even do the lunges to curtsy properly, my legs were literally shaking. ill try doing this again tomorrow!! i hope i find my comment.

I finished chemo almost a months ago and am trying to get my body back in shape. Sweating, struggling and taking the easier versions of the workouts never felt so good. Thank you!

I lift weights about 3-5 days a week but there's something very humbling about bodyweight strength sessions. This was a challenge but I loved it! Thank you!!!

Joanna, im on the last week of ur 8 weeks challenge and i think this is the most difficult one. Thank you for putting the playlist for us and so far ive lost 3kg, and i think the inch lost is more than the weight loss. But the most important thing is im happier. Thank you, love.

When I started, I told myself to at least survive the 2nd set, and ended up doing the entire 3 sets.
I'm so proud of myself for trying and definitely gonna challenge myself to finish all 4 sets next time. Thanks Joanna!
