TIP from a fellow GOUT sufferer. Treat gout as a food allergy. Keep a diary of everything you eat and identify your triggers. I found mine to be ''wholemeal products'' such as wholemeal bread/biscuits/cookies/pasta and meat products that use bread crumbs as a filler. (Burgers and sausages), I eliminated these from my diet and have been pain free for over two years. I am no expert, just a fellow sufferer and this worked for me. Stay safe and well people.

Pain? I’ve broken so many bones and have had been to the ER for accidents. Nothing compared to the pain of gout. What a fucking horrible hellish feeling. Nothing stops the pain.

Been suferring from gout for 10 years and going. The most attacks was like 5 to 6 times or a little more a year. I did almost everything even fasting for one week, drinking acv, baking soda, magnesium, doctor medications and the list goes on. Fasting helps, now i do one meal every other day, it helps decrease attacks. specially when you lose weight. I got my 1st attack today for this year and it was because of too much red meat i ate the other day. 1-2 teaspoon of Acv with lots if water helps me lower uric acid everyday. I also noticed i ran out of acv last week. Im trying to eat more vegetables and sometimes fish. Trying to avoid beef, pork and chicken now. Based from my experience its what you eat and how big your serving is. Kidney having a hard time to process those hard meats. We must give more attention on how to Take care of our kidneys and allow to heal. Its a work in progress. One more thing... it hurts tremendously during its peak. When its swelling like a balloon.🤕

Ive been battling this for 3 months. It kept popping up in a new joint about once a week for the whole 3 months. It happened a year or so ago, but I did not realize what it was. Just felt like a random toe sprain I guess, though extremely painful.. My diet had been loaded with the wrong things, in high quantities for a long time. decades. I'm 36. in these past three months, Every time a new joint popped up, it wasn't quite as bad as the one before. and I think it's because I have been getting my uric acid levels down with good diet. But on the last week it went to my elbow and it was terrible. I saw a video saying to stop ALL sugars. Added sugars, natural sugars ALL OF IT. as much as possible atleast. Maybe around 20 grams natural sugar per day may be ok. Not in one meal. NO FRUIT. NONE. I even stay away from vegetables that are higher than 3 grams per 100. Also I saw a video saying stop grains. Like whole grains. Also try to stay away from vinegar. When I tried this, it seems to have stopped. It may be a culmination of everything I've been doing the last couple months though. But it definately has stopped for a week for the first time in 3 months right when I did that. It seems to be a lot more about what you shouldn't put in your body than what you should. Portion control. Calorie count if it helps. Stay hydrated. Don't crash diet and don't eat big meals, to avoid spiking, triggering. Joint friendly Excersize regimen once able. Eat lots of vegetables. Eggs are good. Nuts are good. Olive oil about 2 tbspns per day good. Beans ok. Fat free/reduced dairy ok. Some meats like white chicken may be ok but I think why risk it. I stay away from things with ingredient labels with a lot of stuff I can't pronounce in it. If there is something I'm not quite sure about I use in moderation. I just do eggs nuts beans and dairy for protein for now. Until uric acid levels go down and then work stuff like grains, lean meats/fish/seafood, and fruit back into your diet. It helps that I am good at cooking, both of my parents being chefs. ( Which is probably part of the original problem. In Louisiana nontheless) Almond flour is great. Between that, riced cauliflower, eggs, olive oil and fat free cheese, I can make those vegetables taste pretty good. Always with a fresh salad with each meal. Gout is the personal trainer that I needed. That guy don't play around. When he says drop the cheesecake, you better do it or sleep with one eye open. He will attack you in your sleep. He's dedicated to making you change. You will thank him later. Lol. For some people, it's just genetics. For most people, it seems to be poor diet, gluttony, alcoholism. I have never had a good diet for 3 months in my life until now.

Hebrews 12:4-13 NIV
In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. [5] And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, “My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, [6] because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” [7] Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? [8] If you are not disciplined---and everyone undergoes discipline---then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. [9] Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! [10] They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. [11] No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. [12] Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. [13] “Make level paths for your feet, ” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

Titus 2:11-14 NIV
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. [12] It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, [13] while we wait for the blessed hope---the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, [14] who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

23 years old and I’m reaching 4 weeks straight and was bed ridden for 5 straight days. I almost want someone to knock me out cold with a baseball bat at times :(

Have it in right toe. If the air hits it or if the bed sheet touches it, the pain sky rockets. Can't sleep at all even after pain meds. 😞😳

The pain is like someone stabbed in between the joint and is just shaking the knife in between continuously inflicting pain with a lot of pins and needles…. When I step on the ground it’s like the foot is being driven on with the weight and pins and needles and when I lift my foot up it’s like I’m trying to move the car with one toe with a lot of pins and needles … it feels like the original little mermaid where every step hurts trying to learn to walk again

In my twenties with no diets as such no weight issues but got this messy thing for the second time now.
Fifth day now and my lord ! Cutting the foot off to just wanting to starve and lay, this pain is undescribable.
Having gout and related pains is one of the worst pains to have experienced.
PERIOD :(
