In most apocalyptic scenarios most people would go CRAZY, BUT what if we dialed that up a notch? A bioweapon gets loose in the drinking water and makes us all insane and we only got 72 hours to discern what kinda way we are reaching our game overs. Lets discuss that and MORE!

Whoops I incorrectly said this all takes place in the south. I was, in fact, incorrect, its in Iowa. So no Trixie Dixies, so how about.... Trixie Pixies?

I dont know if it makes sense to portray the Virus as being sentient. Most of what happens in the film can just be explained as a virus altering the way someone thinks.

Why you wouldn't survive the vote kick. (It's because you jumped off the map before the 3rd check mark)

I always assumed that "Trixie" as a codename was sort of meant to be a name given to throw people off. Plus, you know, irony. A virus that induces rage and insanity named for something that brings joy.

I thought "hell, i wouldn't get infected with my totally healthy intake of mountain dew" but then i realized "shit, i had mashed potatoes last night..." you know what you mash taters in? Water. fuck, i'm dead. lol

I prefer George Romero's original "The Crazies", because people infected with Trixie still looked like normal people and didn't show any optical signs of a sickness or zombiefication. Which makes Trixie way scarier in my opinion. Still a great remake though.

They remind me so much of Ganados from RE4: Their intelligence and one track mind of killing anyone that steps in their way.

Interesting note, the scene near the end when Timothy Olyphant hits the infected hunter with a wrench, the hunter was supposed to snap back instantly but the hunter turned around slowly so they kept the scene

As a hillbilly i can say that you are wrong about these hillbillies as they are not deer hunter types as you gotta be quiet when hunting deer however they are definitely hog hunters as most of us are drunk loud and smell worse than the hogs

This entire movie was a “Mom get the camera” moment

This feels like something that influenced the purge movies but with a virus and no time limit (ik forever overturned it).Pretty sure that no-one would survive in both of these universes since the enemy is human and are pretty much violent for the sake of it.😔

In a major city, this virus is almost an absolute death sentence.

fun fact: popular brands of bottle water such as Dasani and Aquafina are bottled from municipal sources. Meaning they're tap water with a fancy container. They're not filtered any more than your standard tapwater, and have no additives to it. You're just paying for fancy labels cooked up by Coca-Cola and Pepsi.

Now it is granted that some folks can't drink their normal tap water because of various reasons, so you can get large jugs of water for dispensers, but those are most likely still municipal sources, so if the virus gets into the municiple water near these bottling sources, you're just as screwed drinking bottled water as you are drinking water from the tap.

This virus kinda has a similarity to the crossed virus, just without the other stuff involved, just infected wanting to kill

Yes! I've been waiting years for this!

P.S.
I've been watching your video content for years for two main reasons:

The first reason is that you make quality and funny zombie/infected videos.

The second reason is that you sound like one of my best friends and fellow combat veteran who lost the fight to his demons. R.I.P., VDF. 🤙🥃

This wasn’t in the South. This was in Iowa.

I think what makes this movie more creepy than even some of the best "zombie" movies, is biologically speaking, it is actually more of the "plausible" scenario's. We discussed it one time in my Biology class. Really interesting. Mind, you realistically though, most people would die much quicker than what this movie shows, yes the human body is resilient, but this virus is very aggressive, in terms of neurological damage it induces.

As mentioned, it did not work out this way and the military went to dispose of it, but in all actuality, it would probably work out how they originally intended. But, reality doesn't make for a good movie. lol
