I had one session with Bill Adams. His tip for better sounds started with singing the note you want to play as loud as possible, pronouncing RA, like Dad without the hard end. Then take a big breath, but act like you are yawning. Take a deep relaxed yawn. Blow through the horn. He had me breathe through the horn after yawning, taking the whole mouthpiece and my mouth and breathing out through the horn.
