The “travel agent” still has her makeup bib on when she enters the room, because Truman visiting the travel agency wasn’t planned and they had to rush her through makeup to be on the show.

You can tell that the bus driver is among the people sympathetic to what's being done to Truman. He tried to start the bus knowing full well it would "break down" because Truman was on-board, and his "I'm sorry son" sounds and feels truly heartfelt. His body language said "I wish I could do something"

Love how they try to discourage him by putting a poster that proposes such an obscure danger to flying

The best part is knowing the same bus driver deliberately breaks the boat in the same way when asked to go out and "rescue" Truman when he eventually does escape

Everyone stays silent when Truman hop into the bus and nobody complaining about why the bus having issues.

Kind of creepy how they all just stare forward, don't talk, and then hop off without even acting out "What!? What's the problem!?" Just robotic.

Wow, I never realized the driver was actually trying to start the bus. All the times I seen this movie I just assumed no one was on Truman's side. But now I feel the driver's sympathy. He really wanted to be the one to save Truman, and he does sort of at the end which is amazing. Masterpiece.

That feeling of being trapped is so unbearable. No flight. No bus. Everything is so messed up. Poor Truman. And those false advertisements. So scary.

I've always liked how sorry the bus driver is. It's like he is genuinely sorry for Truman and not just acting.

There's so many really great details in this movie. The travel agent still wearing her bib from getting her makeup, the travel agency that actively dissuades you from traveling, the people who all get off the bus immediately without complaint like they expected it to break down, the agent clearly not knowing how to use the computer and just lightly tapping buttons, just a great movie.

Why did they even let him know such things like planes exist? They could’ve convinced him that the dome he’s in was the entire universe and he’d more than likely be none the wiser

bus drives wasn't apologizing to a passenger, he was apologizing to Truman. If it was up to him, he would of started that bus.

Funny detail - they keep running out of extras and costumes, so as truman becomes more unpredictable, they start wearing wackier costumes with actors who have never been on set before. To me, that's why the police officer talked to truman by name - he wasn't briefed on how to refer to Truman, as the other actors were. It's also why all the extras on the bus don't react or do anything - they don't have a script.
