Look at how extremely clean the area is where Truman is walking, but there's multiple trashmen acting like their cleaning imaginary garbage.

I just realized this whole time they never paid him. And he is the most popular show "actor".

The final season of Truman show must’ve shattered so many records. Imagine how intense it would be to watch someone who is starting to realize that the world he is living in is fake? Poor Truman.

Truman being a prisoner for years on that show it just occurred to me that he has never seen the real sun, the sky, felt real fresh air, or life for that matter. You got to wonder that after he escaped and ended the show it probably took him a while to adapt to a real climate. Lol

This scene is a totally psychological moment. Truman is becoming more and more paranoid and starts going insane. But instead of tense or avant-garde music, there is happy music playing instead, which could show how the set of the show is a plastic model trying to hide him from the real world. Very creative, I love it

I love how happy the music is, even though the scene is totally polar opposite. If its done today or made by lesser director, the scene would have predictable tense or suspenseful music.

Jim Carrey's acting was absolutely phenomal in this movie, especially the little details he puts into his acting. For example, at 6:32 his smile leaves his face as he exits the store, showing that Truman truly knows he's being watched at this point.

3:21 his eyes are unforgettable. You can literally see him going insane/realizing what’s happening. Everything conveyed in one frantic look. Might be my favorite shot in the entire movie.

Everyone's fear is "what if I'm the star of Truman show in real life"... but sadly, never "what if I'm one of those slack-jawed on-lookers that participate in voyeurism of someone's life by consuming the media on TV 24/7"

To me, the most unbelievable thing is that when the bus and car had to slam on their brakes, there was no yelling, no horns, no waving, not even an "Are you all right?"

The scene with Marlon is subtle and great.
Truman loudly claps and asks if anything happened, which Marlon replies quickly with a lighthearted (and slightly condescending tone) "no".
In Marlon's mind, this can be used as evidence to prove that this is all in Truman's head, since nothing happened. But in reality, it's evidence to contrary, since a couple loud claps in an otherwise quiet store would definitely turn at least a few heads momentarily. But it doesn't, because the actors all know Truman is there, and are being told to ignore his wild actions.

What's really creative in this film is even though he is the star of the show all the people around him do a great job in making him feel like he is nothing special in life a nobody. Even though his reality is fake his life could of been written anyway they wanted.

this is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the history of cinema and the soundtrack is just too perfect

When Truman is getting kicked out of the building by the two guys, a cop is standing right next to the building but instead of officer jumping in to help deal with the altercation, the "cop" simply walks away because the "cop" isn't really a cop, just another actor in a costume.
