I'm a single user, and all I stream is YouTube, YouTube tv, and a few others like Prime Video and Curiosity Stream, so I don't need these 300 mbs and higher plans.
I get X-finity 150 down with a 1.2 terabyte cap for $33.00 a month (including tax), and I hardly ever use more than half of my cap limit.
This plan gives me everything I need for what I consider a very reasonable price.

We don't need more useless channels we need less prices and only the channels we want they keep adding more so they can say oh you're getting a good value we don't watch half of the shit channels they put on there

I have a feeling when cable companies finally phase out their tv packages they will then start pushing internet prices, they will have to be very careful though because with cellular companies coming out with home internet and Amazon and starlink as choices and you aren’t locked into a certain company in your area with all those choices.

Quit cable seven years back. And haven’t replaced it with anything since I watch with phones, iPad, watch. $20-25k saved.

Is subscribing to YouTube TV cord-cutting? It seems like they're just becoming a cordless type of Cable TV.

Most people are not going to use 5 gigs, unless they are some professional gamer or something; that's a lot of internet!! We are in studio city area, started internet here at $39 a month for internet, but continually goes up. It's more than doubled in the past year. We originally called around checking for the best price. We get 300-400mgs. Never asked for more, they just automatically add it to the package. Frontier is what we use.

I think YouTube TV is too expensive. I’d like to see a skinny version without sports and other channels I don’t watch. Offer it at 1/2 price.

The greed of the local stations is what is driving up the cost of the service not the content. If they can’t get by on ad review let them fail. The streaming services are a way for them to get more viewers so they need the streaming services more than the streaming services need local content.

I've been holding on to Comcast for one reason and one reason only. The local sub channels. I can't find a streaming equivalent that has all the sub channels I watch. Philo comes darn close, but it doesn't have Comet. That's where all my sci-fi shows are., if Philo would get comet I would leave Comcast in a heartbeat

99 percent of ota and broadcast cable is reruns these days don't know why these streamers bother adding any more anyway.

It’s hard to believe that there are people that would get mad because Sling (or any other service) would offer OAN to their viewers. How about if you don’t want to watch OAN (or any other source) just scroll on by and don’t try to dictate what others watch. MSNBC is offered by my streaming service but I don’t get mad about it, I just don’t watch it. 🙄
