I was on the verge of coming back to the division after a long hiatus... But the announcement of seasons kinda killed my enthusiasm.

So true, Ubisoft made this announcement that they were going to go HAM on this franchise. Now we realize that NONE of what they announced has come, not that Jake Gyllenhaal movie, none of the spin-off games, nothing. Which is sadly so on brand for this franchise. Its like their identity now.

how can you not be worried about the state of Div 3? We know they're working on it and yes I was one of those people who always knew it was gonna get made but to say there is no concerns at this point? Quite bold. The future of Ubisoft as a whole is such a question mark. I've mentioned this to other creators but I can't see them getting out under the mess if Star Wars and/or AC don't sell well. 

If Ubisoft stays independent by the time Div 3 releases, I'd be very, very, surprised.

I have really enjoyed playing Div2 for the last 6 months after coming back from a few years off. However, I've gotten to the point where farming slightly better gear is all there is to do. Playing for hours for an RNG chance to get a piece of gear with 6% rather than 5.8% isn't exciting when the content you're grinding is the same content you've hit over and over. "What have you got left to do today? Oh, run Fed Bunker? I've done it eight times this week." I don't have everything 100% maxed and there still a few levels of expertise and a content locked exotic or two I can hunt for but the spark just isn't there anymore; and the number of people playing on my friends/clan list has silently, but steadily, dropped as well. I suspect a lot of others are in the same boat, especially now that we're right at the end of the season.

I'm not going to hold back...

I yearn for the days when you bought a game, you installed it. The makers of the game gave maybe 2 updates that you downloaded onto your PC and you never heard from the makers of the game again. It didn't crash, never got bugs and it was on your PC forever.

As far as I'm concerned, Massive ruins their own games. It's like buying a Rolls, and purposefully crashing it into a tree.

This was and is the best shooter out there, no one is flying around, no monsters, no outer space crap, and no zombies, just a great game.

Shi- I don't even care if there are no future updates. I just love the game, I'm content doing the same stuff over and over. I only wish for two things. True build diversity (12 slots instead of 6, no restrains on any talents or green gear) and a horde mode would be nice while defending the White House...

Took about a year off from D2 been playing pretty steadily over the last couple of weeks. Still fun but I agree sometimes you just need a break

Between Space Marines 2 and Mechwarrior 5 Clans coming out over the next couple of months, it feels like a good time to step away for a bit. The game is in year 6, it's a miracle it has lasted as long as it has. There's nothing wrong with giving some other games some attention for a bit.

Off topic, I just played incursion and got 2 ouroboros in one run. One after the Fire boss and the other after lovebirds. Two of my teammates got one too in the same run after lovebirds.

I think the RNG gods are being generous right now for anyone looking for the Oro still. GO GET IT!

I'm starting a new game this month I have bad feelings on this game, I personally think we shoot our foot off not accepting what they first offered .

Played only some of it but left around lvl 18 because certain features I did not like

Heard they are getting rid of Global Events because they may not work well with Season 2 features, at least that is a reason where Division 1 they removed GEs for no reason

Getting burnt out on games is normal and people take time off
Another Div 2 player said the loss of GEs took away one reason he played
Paul Tassi recently stated he was taking time off from all his live service games (TFD, Warframe, Destiny) for several reasons
I have left off all my live service for now, actually finished a game called Sonority in 2 days for fun though I cannot find some hidden level
Use the time to recover and do other things
1 - Try another game of whatever type suits you
2 - Do not play anything, use the time to socialize more with the communities of games you play even just to read what others say
3 - Do non-game stuff you put off for whatever reason

I'm one of those who've all but quit until dlc arrives. My SHD level being the only thing to progress gives no incentive to grind alone; and matchmaking seems to have decided with so few players, lump any SHD level together.... l feel like im shepherding without a backup call.
Judging by my ingame friends list, many veterans have fled, back to D1, or into other games.
Like yourself l love this game, but after half hour of turning it on, l feel like I'm begging a relationship from a partner who doesnt want to be with me anymore.

Man I hear you I really wish I could go back to div 1 launch day ... best time of my life as far as gaming .. we had so much fun .. then div 2 dropped wasn't as good as 1 and slowly everyone left I played with .. now I still go back to div 1 .. as it's my all time favorite game .. the setting, dz, survival, dz, dz, dz .. I hope 3 is alot more like 1

I quit playing Div months ago. I'm just here to support the channel. Resurgence will drop after March 2025 at the earliest, as stated in the Ubi investment call and in the Resurgence discord
