This is really helpful. I used to sell all over Europe, including Germany, small works of art. I had a sale to Germany this morning, but I think I will be excluding Germany from now. Very sad. Thank you for the video.

Thanks for all the important info Chris. I've just finished updating all my eBay shipping policies to exclude Germany. It's not like I send a lot there, maybe 1-2 a year, but don't want what looks like serious hassle involved in doing so from now on. So a big thumbs up from me, for telling us all about it!

Yeah, just got a order returned from Germany and I will not bother doing all that paperwork for future orders. I would rather lose 5% of my sales than having to deal with German complex bureaucracy, our forefathers died to get away from that lol.

Thanks for the video mate. I also feel something better will come along in a bit, something more simple/some exclusions to certain sellers. Until then i will be disabling posting to Germany. It's a shame but as most people are saying, just too much hassle!
