Why would we as believers in Christ be told to put on the whole armor of God if we didn't need it or if God had predetermined our eternal fate. Praise God for His Love Mercy and Grace
Amen

The ONLY time goats are ever mentioned is at the judgement on the last day when Christ separates the sheep and the goats.

Until then anyone has an opportunity to become a sheep.

A sheep is simply a follower and that’s it.

Consider this if you think being a sheep means you’re elect to salvation then meditate on these two verses:

MATTHEW 25:24

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the LOST SHEEP of the house of Israel.

JOHN 1:11

11 He came unto his own, and his own RECEIVED HIM NOT.

So here it’s clearly stated Christ came to the LOST SHEEP and then later in John 1:11 it says they did NOT receive them.

...But wait a minutes sheep are elect then obviously they would have received Him?!

Well no obviously not because they didn’t.

So how do you explain sheep rejecting Christ if sheep means elect to salvation?

And then IRONICALLY in the very next verse in JOHN 1:12 it says:

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

So salvation is not just available to the so-called “elect sheep” but it’s to AS MANY AS RECEIVE HIM.

Everyone can become a sheep.

And those who freely reject Christ are the only ones who will be called goats and that label is NOT given them until the final judgment.

The text said, "You do not believe because you are not my sheep. Then he says MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE AND THEY FOLLOW ME..

Amen
Subjective moral reasoning has replaced Truth in this The day of evil. If you've put on the whole armor of God and its not dirty and dinged up your not in the battle.

God's love and provision for all is the greatest miracle. The second greatest is Leighton putting out a video that is less than 1 hour. :) Love you brother, keep up the good work!

That's not what the text says tho. Stop imposing this 'God doesn't choose' theology, it's not biblical. Sheep don't choose their shepherd, that's absurd. But hey, could be worse theology, but this is pretty bad.

“In John Chapter 10, Jesus, speaking to *a group of unbelieving pharisees*, says: “you have refused to believe in me, because you are not my sheep.” (verse 26)

This is simply not true. If you look a couple of verses earlier (verse 22-24), you read the following:

“At that time the Feast of the Dedication took place at Jerusalem; it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple in the portico of Solomon. _The Jews_ then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him…”

The text doesn’t say anything about unbelieving pharisees. Then why does Dr. Flowers insert this? Because he wants these strong words of Jesus to only be addressed to a specific, small number of people, as to make sure that they don’t apply to everybody…

Context is key.

Limited atonement, universal salvation, and the moral decay root cause is unbelief in the Word of God. Limited atonement and universal salvation share a common false premise, that salvation is accomplished only by the death of Christ. The Biblical truth is that people are saved by His life. Romans 5:10 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

To be born again and have eternal life please believe and do the following:

Romans 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

But the Calvinist would say see you have to hear in order to be a sheep that follows and only God makes you hear., ,

John 10:37-38 explains how these non-sheep CAN believe.
Calvinism is a joke.

What is freedom?

If we are honest, then we must conclude that only God is free, in the true meaning of the word and that all of creation is constrained in some way. I may consider myself to have freedom of movement, but in reality, I’m constrained by many, many things including gravity, hunger, ability, etc. Even a “free” man is in reality still a slave to his natural needs and nature. So, by freedom we almost always mean “less bound than” – aka a free man is less bound than a prisoner, but is still bound.

So, if “freedom” doesn’t really exist*, then what is free will?

Again, we must conclude that only God can have free will and that all human will is constrained in some way. For instance, we can only will that which we know based on our limited knowledge. For example, we can not will to levitate, because creation has not taught us about levitation. We also know our wills are obviously constrained: e.g. willing to be the ruler of all humans is constrained by reality and our abilities. So, it is obvious our wills are NOT FREE. At best we can say is they are PARTIALLY FREE, OR CONSTRAINED, OR DEFINITELY NOT FREE.

I’ve shown that free will doesn’t exist – at least not as is required by Leighton’s religion. And because all will is bound in some way by God: ironically all of Leighton’s criticism of the Protestant Faith can still be levelled against Leighton’s own religion! E.g. a baby that never hears about Christ and dies had their will constrained by God not granting them time to grow and gain the knowledge choose Christ. So, who is to “blame” in this case? God or the baby?

So not only does Leighton fail to solved anything by pretending free will exists, when even he would have to acknowledge that at best, we have a “partially free” aka “not free” will. The bible teaches we are never free: we are either slaves to sin or slaves to righteousness. And we only become increasingly free, by having more and more of God in our lives – but our “freedom” is to always choose that which He wants us to choose.
