How to tell if you're being tracked by Apple AirTags. iPhone tips on how to learn if you are being tracked by an AirTag. AirTags are awesome devices but they also can be used to track someone, but Apple has released an iPhone feature to let you know if that happens.

Definitely don’t have the “Item Safety Alert” option on mine. Is this only if you have an AirTag installed on your iPhone?

I liked your video presentation but I do have a couple of questions/issues. I have an iPhone XS running iOS 15.4.1 and in the Find My app when I tap the "Me" button in the bottom right corner (1:41) and swipe up, in the Notifications section I do not have the "Item Safety Alerts" feature. All I have is "Allow Friend Requests". Secondly, in Settings you said to tap "Notifications" then scroll to and tap "Find My" and make sure "Immediate Delivery" is enabled. I do not have that feature on my phone. There is nothing between "Allow Notifications" (which is enabled) and "Time Sensitive Notifications" (which is also enabled). Are these features not available on the iPhone XS? Your video doesn't say.

Very irritatingly my new iPhone 13 pro max does not have the item safety alert toggle you show at 3:12.

My wife's iPad doesn't have items safety alert on it under notifications does that mean she needs to update her apps or is it just an older version that doesn't have it? It is about 5 years old

I just purchased the new iPhone 13 Pro Max and the series 7 45mm watch and 2 AirTags. Everything is set up correctly and I do not have this feature in my Find My app either. Apparently I am not the only one.

U forgot to mention something... AirTag works with iPhones running iOS 14.5 and later, but the Precision Finding feature works only with select models: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

unfortunately there are many other tracking tags now. There needs to be an App that can check for all tags (they must use the same signal technology) to see if there are any tags on your vehicle, etc. Some thieves are using it to track victims leaving banks, restaurants, etc.

I have an Android system and have recently been in a dangerous living situtation. I have moved away, but installed Tracker Detect app, suggested by a friend. I opened the app up again today and noticed unknown airtag and I could not listen to the recording part. Could this airtag be on a personal item of mine that was in the previous apartment. sometimes the app does not detect unknow item and sometimes it does. Of course, I have alerted the police. But I am curious what you might can offer for knowledge or advice. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I was in my car and it showed that it picked up an AirTag then I played the sound I could hear it then something happened now I can’t hear it any longer cause the phone not picking up but I’m 100% that it was ringing from inside my car

Thank you for video, had my car stolen, lucky got my car recovered later that night, one thing the police asked if I had a AirTag in my car. I didn’t have one, but I will put one in NOW.

Thief is alerted that what he/she has stolen has an AirTag attached, finds the AirTag, discards it and continues on with the stolen article. Why buy an AirTag?
