I love Dr. McDougall’s nutritional starch based approach. Rice goes a long way and you can do so much with it.

The shopping list is so helpful. I must have watched a dozen YouTube kidney videos, and they all tell you to avoid different foods. 👍

Do you have any idea how long I’ve been waiting for this video? Thank you so much, my Nephrology friends can certainly use this information also, I believe. I will pass it along.

Thank you Michelle! This is so very helpful! I’m hoping that in a future episode you can teach us how to figure out how much protein we are consuming in our food portions. I know how to calculate my protein allowance but then I get stuck. Don’t know if the foods I have on my plate excede the daily protein limit. Isn’t there a chart that lists the food, the amount of protein it contains for a certain portion? I haven’t been able to find such a much needed guide. 😊🌷
