The opposite is true depending on the individual metabolism etc. H e a l t h y snacking on nuts, fruit, protein in between means staves off hunger, low blood sugar and energy dips

However, rules like no snacks and stuffing one's face is NOT mindful eating. Pay attention to your hunger and satiation. Enjoyment and intentional eating, great. No guilt.
