The one thing the Advantage plan doesn't tell you is not only do you have to stay under their umbrella, later, maybe not in the beginning U WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR CO PAYS OF ALL SPECIALISTS.This was my experience.

I have dual advantage plan and its absolutely a nightmare. Its suppose to be a specialized coordinated plan but nothing is coordinated and its a constant fight to get anything paid for or approved. Its hard enough to even find providers that will even take medicaid as a secondary but the special plans youre talking about dont change that and DO NOT coordinate anything in fact they dont even want to pay their primary payer share. Its a joke. Humana has even refused to pay a primary care physician visit. What??? Yeah, sick, go to my in network pcp and my advantage plan refused to pay. Then they denied payment for a pre-approved hospital procedure sticking me with a $28, 000 bill. Still fight on that one even though i have a letter of approval. Advantage plans are a total rip off and they make sure you never get anything done. Feels like they just want us to go die
