MALACHI 4:
4 “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant,
Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel,
With the statutes and judgments.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

MATTHEW 5:17
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill (FULLY PREACH, FULLY DEMONSTRATE, not do away with). 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one [b]jot or one [c]tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

This means Paul contradict his own doctrine

I think people should make a difference between which laws Paul was referring to. The Bible can’t contradict itself.
Jesus himself said he didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill(fullness, not done away with, people)
Look for example Romans 2:13 “for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified”; romans 3:31 “Do we then make void the law though faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.”; Romans 6:1;15; Romans 7:8 ;I Corinthians 7:19 “circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.” Romans 10:4 “for Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” Dr. Brown has a video on this subject as well. The word “end” comes from the Greek word “Telos” which means purpose, goal...not done away with. And keep in mind what sin is I John 3:4 “sin is the transgression of the law”. Is there sin in the world still? Look Romans 7:8 “where there is no law, sin is dead”; Ezekiel 22:26 talking about the wicked leaders. And much more...
However, the law does not bring salvation. Salvation is only through Christ. Because you believe and is saved, you should follow God’s law because you love Him and it is a rule of conduct for your own good. Unfortunately a lot of Bible verses are taking out of context, for example Matthew 15 when clearly the context here is about unwashed hands as you can see on verse 2 and the conclusion on verse 20 and yet people use this verse as a reason to eat unclean “food” and the same for Peter’s vision.
Think about it...go through the 10 commandments and see if they are abolished. Is it ok to have other gods and so forth? Of course not. So keeping in mind that Bible can’t contradict itself as result Paul can’t contradict himself. I encourage you to study a little bit deeper and understand which laws Paul was talking about. Jesus himself was talking about the laws of men in Matt 15. What did Jesus say to the woman caught in adultery? “Neither do I condemned you, go and sin no more”
Go through the Bible and see how many times God says to keep His sabbath.Lots! and how many times to keep Sunday? 0
I’m not a Seventh day Adventist by the way. Not that I have anything against them but for some reason when I talk about this subject first thing people say is that I’m an Adventist and for some reason they think it makes my point invalid. The church isn’t a denomination with 4 walls my friends.

This guys started with saying we uphold the law and end up saying we uphold it internally not externally which mean you only have to believe the law not perform it or execute the law externally and i say this is exactly what paul taught and that is the exact opposite of what jesus say

Nominal Christians _always_ misinterpret Paul's words because they don't bother looking into the context. Worse yet, they read their own law-rejecting bias into his words. When Paul talked about "the law being a tutor", he was talking about the ritual sacrifices and purification ceremonies, not God's own immutable laws. When Paul spoke of Christ being the "end" of the law, he was saying the lvl of Jesus' obedience to God's laws became the standard by which all will be judged. Peter warned that _many_ unlearned and unstable ppl will twist Paul's words to their own destruction(2Pe 3:16) for that very reason. He even called such ppl wicked(v17).

Matthew 22: 37-40 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” 38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Same old wrong, misguided “Christian” justification for abolishing the law. This post proves that he doesn’t even know what the law is, commands or entails. Everything this man said is WRONG

He ends with dying to the Sinai covenant but living in the new covenant. There's a great deal of confusion that happens here. This explanation seems to imply the law is abolished.

1:57 The polemic against the Law in Romans was written to the JEWISH believers in the Roman Church (Ro 2:17 "you call yourself a Jew", Ro 4:1 "Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh", Ro 7:1 "brothers (for I speak to those who know the Law)" (Gentiles did not know the Law Ro 2:14)).

I think it is important to note that we are not under the Law of Moses but under the Law of Christ. Matthew in his gospel establishes this by showing how Jesus is the prophet that Moses spoke of in Deut 18. Moses was only a type of what was to come. Also, Jesus is the one who fulfills the old covenant so we don't have to, that is in His flesh. As Paul wrote we were made to die to law through the body of Christ. The Jews are not suppose to be under that old system. Why? 1. the law accuses, 2. the law the arouses the flesh, 3. the law makes one boastful, or 4. the law does the opposite of making you boastful, it depreciates you. Under the law Satan is able to accuse you. That is why Paul says the sting of death is sin and the power of sin is the law but what does he say after that, he says thanks be to God who gives victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I think it is important to note that the gospels are two-fold. In other words, Jesus is fulfilling the old and also He is speaking something new. The people said he spoke with authority. I will say this, either the law is your head or Christ is your head. As Paul said in Galatians, if you choose to be under the law you have fallen from grace and you who want to live under the law have to do everything the law contains. But what does Paul say after, the scripture has shut up every under sin, so that promise by faith in Jesus Christ might come to those who believe.

From the background of the Jewish Apostle Paul, his culture combined with the Roman culture and the Greek philosophy that prevailed at the time. Finally, his deep understanding of Christianity and Judaism produced us more than wonderful teaching in his letters that led by the Holy Spirit

He also says that people who are not sercomsized will judge you as if they are of the law and that sercomsision of the heart is Gods law

There's no parsing of the some are for Jews and some for Gentiles. If we believe and have faith we are all subject to the same instructions and same inheritance aka kingdom of God. How do we know we abide in Him and Him in us? John said it he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
I John 3:24
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
I John 5:2‭-‬3
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him, ” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
I John 2:3‭-‬4

Paul Taught against "the commandments of Men.". Jesus regularly corrected the Pharisees for "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.". But Christians think Paul meant God Commandments..I don't know what Paul meant? Who knows? At any rate. We are to Obey Gods commandments! But not all the commandments Men (the Pharisees) Made up to Hold the people too..Their own stupid program..they were oppressing the people with.

Just a quick question, how do we uncircumcise ourselves?

Paul said Moses had a ministry of death, and had he not been hiding behind a veil they wouldn’t have been tricked. He went on to say they repented for the deception they believed in the Old Testament, and that he “faint not” having been given a ministry. I assume he felt forgiven because he gained spiritual authority. He taught complete separation from the law because of the his revelations he found in scripture. He applied Jesus words and parables, like for instance Jesus said their father was the devil. The wheat and the tares he applied to the genesis chapter one and two I would assume. Based on him saying the law was given by angels it’s clear he thought Yahweh was the god of this world. Paul said cursed is any other gospel and had a falling out with the others. He wasn’t an antichrist because he pushed Jesus being Christ more than all the others. With his stance on Yahweh I’m surprised because the “lord” is Yahweh, make straight a path for the “Lord”. I guess Paul figured Jesus usurped Yah maybe. Paul is right about the law possibly. Jesus never once said “my” law or “our” law. It would seem Jesus did back the law in some aspects, he also corrected it and says a lot. Jesus also took a lot of shot at Yahweh according to the story. Told them even if they are evil their Father wouldn’t send them snakes for asking for a fish, then actually bread not a stone because of what the mana was. Wheat and Tares another blow, healing the lame another blow, Yahweh as it’s written was anti sick people, he actually said he was the cause of it so why heal them. So yes, Paul was anti law, he didn’t even care about eating meat sacrificed to idol anymore and that’s literally considered eating at the table of devils.

teaching against the Law in one letter, and then in another, after reprobate it, saying 'do we then abolish the Law? on the contrary!' is just hypocrisy. the obama's type. to the muslims: 'I am one of you' to the christians 'I am Christian '. of course he wasn't going to say 'I am the wolf in sheep clothes prophesied'. he was a liar. but not stupid to that point. those who defend him after hearing the two sides of his mouth, are. 'do we then abolish the Law?' Why was he asking?

Jesus said that unless they believed in him that they would die in their sins. So in other words...the law could not save them...only HE could. This is a gospel of faith...just like Paul taught.

Are the laws of Moses still in effect or not? You decide…

Are the laws of Moses still in effect or not? Let’s look through some scriptures and see what it says about this. Hebrews 8:3 says that every high priest is ordained by God to offer gifts and sacrifices. So if this is true, we can ask the next relevant question to get us closer to the answer. Were there high priest after the death and ascension of christ until the destruction of the temple? History shows us that there were 17 high priest that served up until the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. The next logical question that I would ask would go as follows. Who is responsible for ordaining the high priest for the temple of God? According to Romans 13:1-6, God is responsible for ordaining all high priest that minister in his temple. So according to the bible, all 17 high priest were ordained by God to offer gifts and sacrifices in his temple. Also Romans 8:2 says, ” Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” If the laws of Moses are done away with, then why are people receiving damnation for not subjecting themselves to the ministers of God? Is the laws of Moses truly done away with or are they still in effect? While you’re contemplating your answer, please take the time to read the verses below. Shalom… #ReturnToTorah

Hebrews 8:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

Romans 13:1-6 King James Version (KJV)
13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

Numbers 31:41 King James Version (KJV)
41 And Moses gave the tribute, which was the Lord'S heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.

James 1:13 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
13 Don’t blame God when you are tempted! God cannot be tempted by evil, and he doesn’t use evil to tempt others.

Seven questions to ask to test this word

If you answer yes to all of these questions, and can provide the verses to support it, then the laws of Moses are still in effect. If you answer no to any of these questions, and can provide the scriptures to support it, then the laws are done away with. You decide…

1. Is it true that God ordains all temple high priest including Jesus our high priest? Please provide scriptures if you disagree.

2. Is it true that God appoints all rulers on earth, past, present, and future? Please provide scriptures if you disagree.

3. Is it true that there were high priest in Gods temple all the way up to its destruction in 70 AD? Please provide scriptures if you disagree.

4. Is it true that God does not tempt people with acts of sin like ordaining them to positions that are blasphemous to him like sacrificing animals on the altar in his temple?
Please provide scriptures if you disagree.

5. Is it true that the 17 high priest that ruled before the temples destruction were ordained by God? Please provide scriptures if you disagree.

6. Would God be a hypocrite and a liar if those 17 rulers ordained themselves instead of God ordaining them like his word tells us? Please provide scriptures if you disagree.

7. Is it true that the job of the high priest is to offer gifts and sacrifices to God? Please provide scriptures if you disagree.
