I challenged myself to walk 5000 steps every day for 7 days

We all know it, getting our steps in is good for our health. However, in a world where we spend more and more time sitting down, getting in a good amount of steps proves to be quite difficult.

I’m no different. I spend hours upon hours a day behind my laptop. Partly because I’m a video editor and partly because I’m addicted to watching YouTube videos. In addition, my slightly damaged body [link to dermatomyositis video] doesn’t always help with an active lifestyle.

Because I want to keep improving my health, in this video, I challenged myself to walk at least 5000 steps every day for 7 days. Now, I hear you thinking “5000 steps isn’t that much” but for someone like me, 5000 steps day is quite a big deal.

The rules
So, the challenge is to walk 5000 steps every day for the next 7 days.
- If I miss a day, I will have to continue the challenge for an additional 2 days to make up for it.
- The 5000 steps must be reached before midnight.
