The problem with the skill gaps is the entry level wage you start off as is often a non starter, especially if your middle aged and trying to change careers, it's not that no one wants to learn the skills to make 6 six figures it's that no one can afford to live in poverty for 5 years until they can finally get paid well

that's the problem, companies want employees with all the specialized skills they need. they want someone trained and fully functional in that one obscure program they use. NONE of these companies are willing to train.

People are getting licenses in life insurance and real estate as a back up or as a permanent position. Job seekers are exhausted

I get so annoyed when I search for a remote position in my field, see a job that states "remote", only to find in big caps or between asterisks that the position is NOT remote.

Very, very frustrating when companies lie in order to boost their postings up in the algorithm, knowing people want to work remote. I usually report those postings for that reason.

I interviewed for a job a few months ago that advertised as a hybrid role, but once I stepped inside the building the staff admitted that the job was actually 100% on-site, and not hybrid at all. It was a pretty frustrating experience.

This channel is no joke. I was applying and interviewing at jobs for over a year and faced rejection after rejection. Then my wife convinced me to start watching these videos and, I kid you not, within a month I got an offer for an AMAZING job that I am super excited for.

2022 business grad with 0 gaps in my resume and I still can't find an entry level job in any business field - marketing, HR, communications, sales, operations. Over 1000 applications since May 2022. I have spent countless hours refining my resume, custom cover letters and networking on LinkedIn and I am struggling so much. Feels hopeless

Just replace words "jobs market" with "dating" and vice versa and it's the same thing in a nutshell.
