It has been estimated that over 50% of the world's population have low vitamin D levels…

I am not surprised by this figure as we consistently see insufficient vitamin D levels on new client labs every day.

Vitamin D is a critical component in almost all important functions in the body and low levels can manifest with a variety of symptoms.

So on today’s #CabralConcept 2496 I want to go over what the symptoms of low vitamin D are, ways you can increase your levels, and which Vitamin D foods are best.

Enjoy!

NEW HERE?
Hi, I’m Stephen Cabral, Board Certified Doctor of Naturopathy and Integrative Health Practitioner.

For years I struggled with trying to figure out how to overcome multiple life-alternating illnesses such as auto-immune, Addisons, type 2 diabetes, digestive, allergies, insomnia, and debilitating fatigue.

Then I discovered a mentor who taught me how to combine and integrate multiple health practices into one. From there I tested these theories by traveling all around the world and discovering how to finally help people rebalance their bodies and live the life they always wanted.

I’m happy to say that after being shown the way and now creating my own proven protocols based on combining the best of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with state-of-the-art Functional Medicine my team and I have completed over 250,000 appointments helping people just like you and I.

If you’re interested in getting well, losing weight, or living longer stronger, I look forward to helping you to accomplish those goals. Be well and please always reach out if you have any questions or if my team and I can be of service!

Dr. C I feel like whenever I take vitamin D that the boney lumps on the bottom of my feet become worse and more painful and prominent. Could this be possible? It was painful to walk and has stopped since I Havnt taken it

good things to keep in mind. i'm in ohio, but i try to get outside on any sunny day, even when it is cold. i can tell that the sun feels good.
the one thing though is that the listed symptoms can be so many other things. like fatigue could be an indicator of impending heart failure etc.
IMO much of many people's problems are from not doing the best for their body. couch potatoing screws up everything on your list too, so lifestyle needs to be separated from the D-fficiency too.
i dont think i need to test my D. i'm hungry all the time it seems and i havent been sick for over 20 years. even covid was only slight loss of taste for a month. FWIW, i have a touch of autism which enables me to dive deep into things. i meditated on colds and flu, and what it used to do to me and how long it took to shake it. I found the trick for myself, and it has to do with offense vs defense. the second i feel that dryness and slight tingly feeling of a virus attacking my face (all colds and flu), i immediately call off of life and go baby mode for 24hrs. immediately stand in the steaming shower in my face until the hot water runs out. then constantly chug water and liquids and eat like a pig, then bundle up to the verge of sweating and go lay down and do nothing that uses energy or think about anything that causes stress except go to the bathroom every 2 hrs from all the fluids. leave every bit of the body's resources and energy to fight the virus. every 6 hours get back in the shower. i do this for about 24 hrs and the virus never gets past that tingly stage. one time i had to go to 36 hours before i felt completely ok. i'm not sure, but i think my trick is to get the virus while it is still low numbers and local, then stymie its reproduction for long enough for the body to make the antibodies and deploy them while the virus is low numbers. i used to get the flu for a week. and sometimes even get a relapse after a week, all from pushing myself, stressing, going to work, shivering etc. and just want to die the whole miserable time. all your resources are used for functioning and the virus runs rampant. maybe i am full of it, but fine, i'm the one who has not been sick with any "rhino" type virus for 20 years. and i have to do this several times a year when i get exposed like at family gatherings or a long shopping day etc also, zero need for a flu shot. sry for typing too much.

ONLY direct sun exposure, half naked or naked, in the summer months, between 10 am to 2 pm, for 10 to 15 minutes. THAT'S IT.
