Pitbulls have such an undeserved reputation of being cold blooded killers. I'm here to set the record straight!

I found a pitbull after I had a stroke and he was starving, dehydrated, and severely under weight. He became my walking buddy and I named him Courage. That dog saved me, and we saved each other. I will forever be grateful to him.

No bad dogs just bad owners. People exploit their loyalty. Thats why people suck.

When my pit bull died, I lost my best friend😣
Pit bulls are the most loyal and trustworthy dog you will ever have.

“A sweet little chihuahua” my ass they are just pure concentrated hatred and rage that it cannot fully tap into due to its size

I am 13, my pit bull sleeps in my bed, eats my food, and saves my life.
I was being attacked, he has never bit me, barked or growled at me, but he scarred off him. He saved me. He is smart, kind, affectionate, and sweet.

I had a pittie mix in college. Someone found him on the street as an 8 week old puppy. He was scared of his own shadow. He was my best friend. The goodest boy. He loved everyone, from cats to smaller dogs to people. He was truly a derp. I miss you, Buddy.

A friend of mine has a pit bull that walked up to him at a park one day, he had no collar and was missing an eye. The friend took him home and his mom wasn’t very happy about it and had told him he would probably have to take the dog to the pound. Well later the next day my friend was at work and the dog was in his room, his mom often babysat a 4 year old that always took naps in friend’s room. His mom found the 4 year old and dog sleeping together, the dog curled around the kid, and the kid using the dog as a pillow. The dog didn’t recognize the mom at first and growled when she reached for the kid, though he immediately realized his mistake and let her pick him up. She let him stay after that.

As a dog trainer I can say... I've never had a pit try to bite me. Not once.

I'm a guy, 52 years old now & 3 years ago my son gave me my first dog. It's from one of his litters & he promised me my reserves about this breed were wrong. She is protective but never mean. What a blessing.

I had an Akita, he was pretty big and he would actually bite people in the shelter when they would go and pet him. Then my grandfather showed and showed love to this dog and the dog was the most gentle you’ve probably ever seen, they called my grandfather to take him back to youthenized and he literally said no, paid for jack and we kept him. To me this is kind of the same story your telling, dogs just need loving owners.

I’ve seen more “blood thirsty” chihuahuas than mean pit bulls

We’ve had like 3 pitbulls over the years they were all friendly our last one we had to give to a friend because we had to move and she made her mean it’s sad but it’s what people do to them no the breed themselves

My whole life I have been raised around pitbulls, we rescued one that was being train to be in dog fights and who was also starved and locked in a room 99% of the time, that pitbull became my best friend, my protector and my therapist... he was one of the most loyal dogs I knew other than my other two pits who helped raise me.

As he's talking about how mean the boston is, I cracked up over the look on that dog's face. He's all like "Yep. I'm mean. I got one tooth. you gonna do something?"

Most dangerous part of pit bulls is their gas...or their tails when they get excited!!! I’ve actually had my legs bruised by the dogs of the man I was seeing a while back, from their tails wagging so hard!

I adopted my rescue pitty when he was 3. He had been beaten, starved, had mange, ear and skin infections, and an untreated broken tooth. He never snapped or growled no matter how much he went through. He was and is still nothing but love. Thanks for putting it out there
