I told this same thing to my doctor years ago when he asked why my numbers got worse after following his advice. The next year, doctor said you're doing great. What are you doing? I said opposite of what you told me to do. Doctors are not nutritionists and unfortunately many nutritionists aren't either.

My doctor has been telling me for years to stop drinking because of my fatty liver. Well, I don’t drink. I may have one social drink of vodka and Soda water every once in a while. For years I have been eating Brussel sprouts, kale, broccoli and spinach because that’s what the online “experts” say you need to do to clean your liver. I got so sick of salad and these vegetables that once upon a time I enjoyed. I started reading about carnivore diets over the last 9 months and finally made a decision to try it.
My doctor scheduled an ultrasound which is in March of 2025. 2.5 weeks ago I cleaned out my pantry and donated 10 bags to the food bank. So far I am down 5lbs and already noticing the difference in my energy levels.
I am following the BBBE diet but I do eat cheese as well. Here’s hoping this will solve many issues for me. Thank you Dr. Berry for all your videos. I’ve learned so much.

My 75-year-old grandmother was diagnosed with fatty liver after her SGPT levels reached 69. Following Dr. Berry’s advice, she switched to the Ketovore diet, giving up rice, bread, and desserts. She started eating more meat, eggs, butter, and vegetables.

In just a few months, she successfully reversed her fatty liver and improved her health. Thank you, Dr. Berry, for helping her and so many others!

TY Dr. Berry! No one ever explains this like you do! I have stage 3 NASH and they’ve yet to mention anything about my diet. I feel like that should be #1.

Actually, since fat is essential, if you don’t have the micro biome to convert plants into fat, a low fat that will kill you… it almost killed me 10 years ago after three years of being a vegetarian…

I've seen somewhere that a deficiency in choline can cause a fatty liver! One food high in choline is eggs, in the yolks!

You're somehow one of the few honest doctors out there. Thank you for what you do, sir!

A low-fat diet is what caused my gallbladder stones & led to-now-not having one.😢

MAFLD = Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease is the new name for NAFLD to better explain the pathophysiological basis of the disease. The diagnostic criterion highlighted the contribution that systemic metabolic dysregulation plays in driving the liver disease is Type 2 diabetes, metabolic risk abnormalities and overweight/obesity. Diet change and physical activity are the cornerstones of treatment, encompassing weight loss and healthier behaviours and a holistic approach. Lifelong changes are needed.

Ran into a 'Dr Berry discipline action' by some Brit sounding 'nutritionist.' I left him a piece of my mind

I worked in a full-service meat (beef) market. Unfortunately people go for the ungraded because it "looks less fatty" Their logic is they don't want to spend the extra money for the fat. We put some Prime T-Bone steaks in the case and they would not sell, even when marked waaay down!!
