Man, the wing-chun scooping technique is a good way to break the guard, but it requires good speed and practice

I agree 100%! Could not have said it better myself! We need to stop arguing about "what is better", and come together as martial artists and learn from each other. Cooperation will always get you farther than alienation.

Stop fighting, start learnin' from each other, brothers💪

The martial art you train is infinitely better than any martial art you don't train.

Train anything – the point is, train *something*.

Boxers do stuff like this but you have to be fast about it and know when to use it. Blending it in with punches is key because if you get caught reaching for someone’s hands or arm, you’re wide open for a punch.

I studied wing Chun and JKD under Dan Inosanto back in 2008. Best time of my life...i will never forget all of the lessons and hardships I went through. 💪💪💪💪

Precisely. I started out as a boxer and I've been practicing wing Chun very heavily in later years and find it very useful.

Train in both, and can say that they compliment each other perfectly, both incredibly useful styles of Martial Arts

Wing Chun also good for very tight, in close, slipping and using immovable elbow as a block is perfectly legal in the ring.
I have used elbow blocks, to the inside wrist, to great success - punishes, and deters, the guy for wild throws like haymakers or loose hooks and overhands.
Even elbow parry uppercuts, with very little departure from rib guard.
So much to complement your own style from analysing other styles.

Now that's the right attitude. Out of the box.

wing chun focuses more heavily on the trapping and parrying than any other martial art, of course there would be some useful techniques
