3 Reasons You SHOULDN’T Use When Picking A Realtor.

1. Picking an agent simply because you know them can be a dangerous decision. You need someone that is professional at all times, it’s easy to get too relaxed with friends or family. Some ppl don’t want to share their private financial information with friends or family. You also need someone you mesh well with professionally, see how they work before making them your realtor.

2. A good realtor will know what’s going on in the market at ALL TIMES. They should know the months of inventory. They should know how long homes are staying on the market before they sell. They should know median home prices. They also should be able to walk thru a home and “see” issues that most ppl wouldn’t see ie. a bad foundation, not having proper outlets in “wet” areas and numerous other things that can cause a delay or kill the deal all together.

3. Having a network is CRUCIAL and just because you work for a brokerage doesn’t mean the whole company is your network. I have a network of over 150 realtors in several different states. We meet weekly and discuss needs. A lot of home “matchmaking” is made in these meetings getting sellers property sold quicker and getting buyers into homes with less competition.
