The most thing I hate about this guy is his horse side attack. You can't tell when it's coming

1 was bad enough but 2 is just wtf. But think this fight is somewhat easier considering they don't have the space to move around compared to if this were out in the open like the 1 you fight by the church.

There’s a way to fight them 1 at a time instead of together. If you approach them from behind by entering the door behind them from the other side, you can crouch and sneak up behind the sentinel on your right, hit him once and instantly run back towards the other side of the door. As you’re running towards the door, make sure you’re hugging the side of the sentinel you attacked. The sentinel you attacked will chase after you while the one on your left somehow didn’t hear anything and will just continue to mind his own business. You can then proceed to fight and kill the sentinel that chased you, and then afterwards go back to the other side of the door to take care of the second sentinel however you want.

i got a tactic guys: slip in from the left side of the staircase. you will be facing the leynell guards, but ignore them. move up to the tree sentinels till you see them coming down, then take the shortcut 1 higher than the leynell guards to sneak around the spirit bear back on the outside. then ride to the top, go in from the alley towards the gate, and lure 1 of them below with a spell or arrow. guaranteed 1v1.

Took me several tries but after you defeat one of them, its just smooth sailing from there since I fought the limgrave tree sentinel 50 times and memorized its patterns by heart (except for that side lunge)

How to cheese them : If you come from the bonfire in the back, and come back slowly, eventually the left one is going to go down, but not the right one. Wait for the two to be separated enough, pull the right one, kill him, pull the second, kill him.

Guys, run through the gate at the top, get the grace, go back through the gate and get 1 aggro. Then lead back through gate for a 1v1

The easy way I found for the two sentinels if you want too cheese them you can just go on horse back and hit one once or twice quickly and then lure them through the gate at the top of the stairs they despawn about half way down that road before the sight of grace and rinse and repeat, doesn’t allow them too really attack you and it’s pretty easy too get a couple hits on them before they start fully attacking

I could never really "cheese" them properly, what I did was to fight one at a time, mostly by sitting in a corner getting wailed on and hiding behind barricade shield until I wore the first one down to 10 or 5% hp, then, ran into aggro range of the second one before finishing off the first sentinel. They are pretty harmless if you have barricade shield and fight them one at a time.

So I guess tree sentinel is Dragonrider with out the bow

Ufff, just defeated them. As a mage I used the terrace on the side of the main road. Called my summon and spammed the comet spell. No hit, no damage..

If you beat the shield one first, you can hit the fire one from the back, run back to the grace site. He disappears and reappears on top of the stair case. Rinse and repeat

I kinda had a policy of "kill everything on your path" At least regarding bosses, but then seeing TWO of these guys just chilling at the gates of leyndell was really a wake up call "hey maybe I shouldnt be here" Keep in mind I still haven't been to caelid, weeping, hell even most of limgrave and liurnia I just beelined godrick rennala figured I could do the main path cos I'm kinda good at souls games
