It's odd that first time the boss was so tough I had to level and get weapons to fight it. After beating the game going back with a level 1 Wretch and I was surprised at how it was easier than the first time.

I understood in basically every boss fight you just need to be patient. Wait for the right moment, no matter how good you are and prepared you are, wait your moment in every single fight

I find his second phase is alot more easier. When he does those huge lunges, roll into him and you'll get to punish him with a charged attack or two light attacks or one heavy and a light.

44 mins, not bad at all, it took me 1h and 40 min. Had to tune down graphic and close app so I can dodge properly because I swear Tree sentinel has 8k texture on them (jk, I didn't know shjt, my rig just suck ok). The only difference is that I don't really run far away from Tree sentinel, I just stand there and wait for it to charge at me and just dodge attacks and punish. This game on PC needs some help because performance is not good on medium rig.

its funny how often asmon tries to fish for the jump attack but the opening is easily big enough for 2 light attacks XD he is so used to the powerstance helbard jump attacks he cant stop it
