How I beat Tree Sentinel early | Elden Ring

Not exactly a cheese strat since he can still one shot you. But it helped give me the edge.

I fought him like the good Lord Miyazaki intended, after trying several times I ran to the church, spoke with Merida’s ghost from Brave, and fought him alongside Torrent. 😇

I lost to him in the beginning…so I ventured out into the land between, I later returned with more power…and then he felled before me 🚶🏾‍♂️

A tip if you want to beat him normally: If you go to the bridge southeast of the gatehouse grace, you'll notice a hill leading to the lake. If you make your way down and under the bridge, you can run past the skeletons to get to an invasion. Try to let Yura handle the invader, and after the invader dies you can go into Murkwater Cave. There you'll find Patches, and play along until you get sent to mistwood via the chest. After that, you can kill him for a set of armor and a +8 spear. Also gets you his shop for when you get to the roundtable hold. Hope this helps someone!

Easiest way on foot is to use torrent or hug his left and roll with his attacks.
If you use the platform be warned he can sometimes jump up .

This is countered with a quick repositioning and baiting. Then you just jump back on the platform and rinse and repeat.

There is actually a really easy way to beat him I was a samurai and beat him at the start of the game. Just get a bunch of arrows and go up the hill to where you first start by the lost site of grace beside the npc. Then just shoot him with arrows he can't find you cause your up on a hill and you can kill him easily.

Bone throwing knives steel throwing knives and a bow is what I used. Magic would have been a great addition but I didn't have it yet. Love these types of videos. Strategy at its finest.

What's pretty funny to me, is I just did this 20 minutes ago and I didn't see any video on how to do it. Seen that concrete block and figured I'd go up there and see if I could mage him lol. Then I took a break to watch YT shorts and this popped up 😂

I was level 33 and beat him using large club+3. The running/leaping heavy attack will stagger him every time, but only briefly. There are a few of his attacks that you can land inside of while using the leap attack. I'm currently using the Golden Halberd

If you're a astrologer spam glinstone pebble. If you get the angle right aftee a while. He will assume you arent there and keep teleporting to his spawn. You can get our a full combo of magic before he teleports. I reccomend allocating all 4 of your flasks to him, he's quite weak to magic. Which makes sense cus he uses a shield to counter his weakness.
