I adore vets and their profession. Among the best humans on this planet. I wish I'd have the emotional and mental strenght to take care of our furry friends as a vet but honestly I would buckle in a day.

Wonderful video, Dr. I am in my 2nd year of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Medicine Program. I've been working in animal science and vet med on and off for almost a dozen years now, including the 4 years in undergrad and the 2 years just now I'm vet med school. You're right that it's not just the schooling that makes a good vet- it takes a lot of on-site learning and practice. For all those considering vet med: stay strong and keep at it, but be very conscious of your limits. This career will push you.

It’s so hard to find an honest and truly caring vet, i have been to multiple places and it seems like they are all after the money. They try to sell unnecessary treatments or tests which 90% of the time are pointless and they know exactly what is wrong with your dog before the fact. They just upsell to the max or else they would make no money.

Hello Doc, i have a beagle and since 1 month his right part of the chest is twitching even at rest for some particular amount. Giving him medrol tabs-seems to work, after medication was over yesterday, the twitching is back... Previsioly he used to shout in pain mid walk but then again continue walk normally like nothing happened. Vets here can't seem to find he isssue....
