I find your content lightly comical, you've gained my subscription. I do, however, have a question. I consider myself *somewhat* PC Tech Savvy and I'm currently running 2 4GB RAM sticks, and a single 8GB ram stick (with both 4GB RAM sticks in the A1 and A2 slots and the 8GB RAM stick in the B1 slot). I am upgrading in two days when my next 8GB stick arrives. When I slot these in, should I have them alternate in sizes? Like putting the 8GB RAM stick in A1, then a 4GB one in A2, then 8 in B1, and 4 once again in B2? Thanks in advance.

nice but still missing part, when you have f.e. two 4+4GB modules and buying one 8GB (same speed), or having 8+8GB and buying just one 16GB... so you can run Dual-Channel also with 3 slots ... f.e. 4 - 4 - 8 (A1 - A2 - B1), cause amount in A bank is the same as in B bank (8GB each)

My pc has downgraded the speed to 2133 mhz. I had two different rams in dual channel tho.
One is 8gb @ 2666
Second is 8gb @2400

Dont know why speed gets lowered to 2133 instead of lowest ram speed which is 2400

I have 2x8GB of Rams Kingston HyperX Fury (1800 MHZ) and 2x4GB of SK Hynix (1600 mhz) on the motherboard DQ77MK-R01 (Intel).
It has 4 Slots 2 Black and 2 Blue. What should be my pairing Scheme of Rams which Rams should be put on for Dual Channel Mode with Higher Frequency and GBs.

Hey brother, I have four DDR4-3200 8×2 Ram sticks. I used it for almost 2 years but now I am getting problems while running all the sticks together ( Problem- Pc doesn't display anything). Checked all the 4 Ram by dual channeling (A2-B2) They work perfectly. (Never overclocked) (XMP disabled) . I don't get it what's the issue please help ☹️

I have a prime B650M-A WIFI II should I use the first slot closest to cpu for first ram stick or skip to second and 4th slot ?

If I'm currently using 1 x 8 GB 2400Mhz and if I install 2 x 16 GB 3200Mhz (arriving today), will I need to change any settings or do any steps for it to recognize Dual channel or will it automatically know ?
