Freedom is the true wealth! You've got to make a few sacrifices to get it. Building yourself a financial foundation first makes it less stressful. I'm in my 50s and quit at 35 to follow my passion but I first grew my savings and portfolio to about 450k. My investments continued to increase and provide me with passive income till this day. While you still work HYSA and investing is a great tool

Yo this is mad wild bro. As a millenial who grew up without social media...social media doesnt show the true process of life and thats monotony...it only shows the reward which creates instant gratification so it creates delusional to think you can bypass the struggle of monotony. We cant avoid it we can only master it. Prayers for you my sister.

There is no shame in working a 9-5 while pursing your side hustle.

What a lot of successful influencers don’t tell you is many of them have their basic life necessities met by their family or spouse, which allows them to go full-time on content creation without the stress of having to worry about rent or bills.

Subscribed and wishing you the best. Keep chasing your dreams!

I'm 46 and lived a delulu life from 18-35. I had billions of jobs, traveled around the world and got 2 degrees. I was broke, then rich, the broke again lol. I feel like youre doing exactly what youre supposed to do. Trial and error. Now I have an 11 year old and a job I like enough and stable. You're fine! Keep it up.

Quit my job in 2021 to be a full time entrepreneur and then realize that check from the job every week was what gave me so much freedom to build my dreams.

You are lucky to learn this lesson at a young age. There are 35 y/os making this same mistake

I’m a millennial, there’s no shortcut for hard work. Social media shows everybody the 1% and everybody thinks they can be part of the 1% just because they want it.

Life doesn’t work like that, you don’t get the things that you want you get the things that you work for

I set goals, changed careers & got into the film industry. Just worked on a #1 show for a major studio & earned my first award for directing 👏

I think a lot of us are in this rat race that seems like it never ends. I completely give it to ppl willing to take risks coz it's not for everyone. I wish you the best.

Most content creators in my country who made it big did not quit their jobs while building their channels for the first two years. Not unless your account is monetized well and that it earns more than your salary, whether it is YouTube or Tiktok. People only quit their jobs when their channels earn more than their jobs which is a wiser decision that just jumping into the creator economy without a good plan.

Became a full time entrepreneur at 24. Learned a lot and made many mistakes. Got a full-time job recently and it was the best decision. The safety net allows me the peace of mind

living delulu is for young people who have rich parents, the majority of us peasants cant afford to be delulu...im saying this from experience. Im in poverty in my 30s because i lived delulu in my 20s.

Thank you for making this video because people really need to hear this. I remember in my 20s when law of attraction started gaining popularity. I got so wrapped up in it as well. It wasn’t until years later I realized that it’s just a way to make you focus on what you really want but you have to take action on those things not some type of magical thinking and then it will just appear.
Social media has become filled with thoughts like this and this delusional trend and raising your vibration nonsense is no different.
We live on earth, and not in the spirit realm and so many of us are wanting so badly to have a great and prosperous life but we just don’t know how to get there. So we use things like this as coping mechanisms to give us hope but it’s really all just a facade.

Subscribed to support your channel. Denzel Washington said it best: "Do what you GOTTA do until you can do what you WANNA do." I quit my job in 2020, but it wasn't time. God worked it out for me make a u-turn and get back into the same job paying me more money. We will all get there. Just keep making time on the side to get it done! ♥

Gotta leave room for life to happen. You’ll be ok lil sis. I’m 32 feeling 22, it all evens out.

Since you’re a bartender/server, it’s relatively easier to get back into that.

A lot of people are quitting 9-5 office jobs that have lots of hurdles to get back into.

It’s worth the risks though if the job isn’t getting you where you wanna go

I also struggled with this. I'm 26 and just graduated law school. I was struggling between the idea of traveling the world and putting off my career and starting later but with the way the economy is right it's just not a possibility. So I decided I'll save for a year until I can fund a year of travel or obtain a remote job that allows me to travel. The idea of traveling and having no stability sounds nice when you're 21-24, but once you turn 25 it sounds scary when you have no savings, no back up plan.

This is so real--I quit my day job to become a ft creator, and we are almost 2 years in going strong, but for me it was a SUPER calculated risk. I only did it after I had replaced my day job's income and had proven that I could "do it". I really think you're in the right mindset, my 'traditional' 9-5 was what gave me the stability to focus on growing my content creation side-hustle until I was in a place to let it go. I also think you're so right with a lot of the positives of a work place--community, stability, having great friendships--working alone can be SUPER isolating. 😂

It’s good that you admit that you have the option to live with your mom or get money from your dad. Most people don’t admit that. For folks like me who don’t have those options, we really aren’t in any position to not have a day job with no back up plan 😢
