If you look at the stats, the US spends the most on healthcare, but is not even close to providing adequate care. Since you also mention "armed services", do you agree with America using almost 50% of taxes to fund the war machine? If you look at the infrastructure in the US, you will see, that roads, bridges, railways etc are crumbling and will continue to if things don't change. Once again, how do you see things working when the demand for services is rising, but the tax base is shrinking?

First of all, the general public is already in debt with credit cards, mortgages, car loans and student loans. About 50% of Americans DO NOT pay income tax. Americans are already being taxed up to 40% of their income. The debt and deficit is growing and will continue to grow. There is almost no growth in the economy and REAL wages have FALLEN compared to the last few decades. The REAL interest rate is NEGATIVE so people are already losing money from that and inflation.

In Australia our hospital staff are well paid because we don't mind paying taxes to support our health system.
Think of it like a breadwinner putting money into the housekeeping budget so that the stay-at-home mum/dad can look after the house, pay the bills or do the shopping. That's why we have governments - to look after all the things we don't want to be bothered with.

You don't take into account medical mistakes that cause deaths specifically because doctors, nurses, and medics are understaffed, overworked and don't receive their raises for YEARS. That fact that the government would rather pay existing workers overtime instead of hiring more workers to avoid having to pay the overtime. When money isn't used efficiently, that trickles down to EVERY aspect of medical care, right down to the cleaning of surgical equipment.

Oh my goodness. The debt NEEDS to be expanded because of the banking system. Specifically because the system CAUSES debt and bankruptcy. Not just because we need to expand debt.. Things would be a LOT better if money weren't wasted. If priorities were based on reality and not greed and profit. Look up the Federal Reserve system to understand why the system NEEDS to be expanded to be able to survive. We all know that infinite growth is IMPOSSIBLE, so when does it stop? It's stopping right now.
