Obama catches fainting woman at White House: President quips 'always happens when I talk too long'

A woman appeared close to fainting as she stood behind US President Barack Obama during his speech on the steps of the White House Rose Garden on Monday (October 21). The president was delivering remarks on the Affordable Care Act, surrounded by a group of Americans who had successfully enrolled in new health insurance plans as part of his signature healthcare law.

Actually he turned around thinking it is just another fainting during his speech which often happens after overhearing the blonde lady whisper to the lady supporting the fainting lady, but when he turned around he realised she is pregnant, supports her middle back and asks her about it very softly as soon as he caught her so that it is not picked up by the mike and when others confirmed that she is pregnant, he said loudly on the mike "I got" and said something to ease her tension "No No you are okay" And then some self deprecating humor "This happens when I talk too long" loudly on the mike to save her from embarrassment. He was not showing off. Rather he was being extremely sensitive and thoughtful at the spur of the moment, knowing exactly how to diffuse the situation with dignity for her.

Staged? Come on. The President acted as a true gentleman, showing discernment and à propos to this young woman. Not joking, Mr Obama cared for her. Bravo, Mr President.

This was planed and staged, to make him look good. No one that is going to be so star struck that they faint around him, would be allowed near him, let alone right behind him while he is speaking. That woman was an actress!!!
