These indicators should be easily found, measurable and linked to the crucial drivers of your success. KPI’s are often reported on using a dashboard with an at-a-glance view of your farm performance.

They need to be customized to your farming situation and should be developed to accelerate the achievement of your goals. KPIs aren’t infallible, so ensure that they:
1. Align to business strategy
2. Cover all bases
3. Can be accurately measured
4. Can be influenced by team members
