How to run in a new motorcycle engine

Quick video on how to run in a new motorcycle engine. Some engines come from the factory run in, but others need to be 'run in'. On both my BMW RR and now R this run in period is 300 to 800 miles of under load with an electronic limiter of 8.5k rpm.

Great little video. I’ve recently ordered an s1000r ready for March. I can’t wait 😬 what phone mount do you have? Looks very stable….

im taking delivery of my first brand spanker soon, (750 hornet), and only use main roads to get me between stretches of 'twisties', when you naturally have to vary it all anyway, so that gives me a little confidence. there's so much advice on YT it's hard to filter the good stuff out sometimes lol, but what is your take on using engine braking when running in, is it a good thing to do, as long as it's not too rapid and done smoothly?, or should it be pretty much avoided. Tx

I bought a brand new CB300R Honda Bike 6 months ago and have only put about 300km on it. I haven't been able to get out and use it much. Should I get the oil looked at by a machanic before putting more kms on it? Or should it be fine
