How long do baby parakeets stay in the nest?

The birds are ready to leave the nest between 30 and 40 days after hatching - but it takes another nine months before they're completely independent of their parents. At one year old, parakeets are ready to breed.

When can you remove baby budgies from parents?

In captivity, budgies are ready to leave their mothers when they are around eight weeks old. Once a budgie hatches, it quickly matures and starts to become independent, meaning it's usually ready to leave its parents once it reaches the 8-week mark.
