My budgie is a little shit but i love him regardless, man’s just jumped into a bowl of spaghetti cause he decided he wanted to have some too, currently drying him off after washing him, he’s white so ill have an orange bird for a bit now 😂

Gosh so true that we sacrifice for them so much, I used to sleep with freezing temperatures but now I can't because I'm worried so they won't get sick, but it's ok
I prefer to get sweaty then have my budgie sick 🥺

Ok the travel one actually sucks for me...If I go on a 2-3 days vacation and can’t take birds, I would actually leave them home with so many food and water and also make a system so they don’t get too hot or too cold.I can also check on them because I have a camera in my house but if I go for a week, would definitely recommend giving it to someone to take care of it until you come back or take them with you 👍👍

"No Vets" is so true one of my budgie died (cause still unknown) he was sick and I took him to a vet who said he checks birds too, but all he said was to give him vitamins (which I was already giving) and then said he had a heat stroke IN MARCH, during spring season when weather was pretty nice 🤷 and they are expensive too.‍

Taking car trips with my budgie named MJ is the greatest thing. I let her out and she chills on my shoulder, looks out the window, and generally makes car trips significantly more fun. It's also awesome to see people reactions in traffic when they see her sitting in the window.

My Mom took her budgie with her on a road trip, and they both seemed to enjoy immensely! 🤣Not arguing, this was the type of budgie who loved the security of being inside his cage and also loved being around his humans! 🤭😊

I drove across from Colorado to NY and my budgie sat on my shoulder most of the way. I just put a screen up near the window so the speed wouldn't bother him. We went there and back with no issues. I loved it.

I've got 22 lovebirds and have had budgies, too. Even with all of these "handicaps", I still love them. I don't miss air conditioned, I use a fan instead, I don't mind cleaning doors, tables, the floor...
They give us much much more! ❤️🍀❤️🍀❤️🍀
