I found out I was procrastinating because I was uncertain of who I was and overwhelmed with not knowing. That meditation book called 30 Days to Overcome Procrastination by Corin Devaso was helpful.

Sis I am in the same boat. I have all these ideas I want to draw and create but, I've been too caught up with laziness and procrastination to do anything. It frustrates me because I know God did not give me this gift to just sit around and do nothing with it. So everyday I feel like I'm letting him down.

Sometimes stepping away gives us the opportunity to re-focus, refine and define our vision (which is hopefully aligned with His will); does X line up with why we started. When we have done something for awhile, it is my opinion that drifting out and away can happen. I can absolutely relate - I struggle with procrastination and laziness myself; I never attributed it to arrogance/pride but you are so right about not being advantageous of his mercy/grace because there is no "other" day, just God willing, we hope for the next. My life verse is 2 Timothy 1:7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Welcome Back to why you came all along. Let us all maximize our time.
