The Chinese Communist Party has been accused of committing crimes against humanity and even genocide against the Uyghur population in the north-western region of Xinjiang. The Ugyhur population are mostly a Muslim ethnic group in the north-western China with an approximated population of 12 million. In particular, the Chinese government have arrested uyghurs with limited evidence, enforced them into labor, suppressed their religious practices, forced abortions and have politcally indoctrinated them with the message of the Party. But as we like to ask on this channel, Why is this happening? In this video, I will be looking at the Uyghur genocide and why it has been happening in China’s Xinjiang province. You’re watching All Things Humanities.

In the end of the 18th century one of Uighurs exking Appak khodgja brought Chinese army to regain the power and protect his authority- only the reason why Chinese happen to be on Uighur soil in return Appak khodgja promised Chinese to pay a lot of money.
You missed the most significant and important part the Uighur independence of 1933 and establishment of independence and East Turkistan up to 1949 and Russian, British, Indian embassies and consulates in Kashgar

The Uighur genocide has nothing to do with religion!!!!
Uighurs have exactly the same statement as Tibetans that this is not part of China and never was !

I would learn how to pronounce the name of China's last imperial dynasty, the (Manchu) Qing (pronounced "ching") Dynasty, properly, if you want to garner the respect of your audience. Similarly, you should learn the correct pronunciation of the names of the Chinese people and regions you discuss. It only takes a couple of minutes to look up the correct pronunciation of foreign names, on the internet.
