China's Communist Party 'controls the lives of more than 1 billion people'

Chinese President #XiJinping has given an hour-long televised address from Tiananmen Square to mark the centenary of the creation of #China's #CommunistParty. Xi hailed the "new world" created by the country's people as he warned foreign forces that those attempting to bully the nation will get their heads bashed. We spoke to China specialist Antoine Bondaz, from the Paris-based FRS or Foundation for Strategic Research. He told us that the Chinese Communist Party now "controls the lives of more than 1 billion people".

Antonie Bondaz's talk is short in the show that I cannot tell what his views really are. The Chinese leader is a speaker of a large elite group which has all the interests to benefit the Chinese people, and enrich themselves at the same time. At the foundation, I think it is that China's economy is surpassing that of the US in size. The US has never allowed that to happen before.

Is it so hard to admit others success? CCP leaded China from one of the poorest country to the 2nd largest economy on the planet, in just a few decades!
