I have greatly appreciated these reels you've been sharing. It's helped me get back to the basics that work for me. I'm already less scattered! YOUR METHOD WORKS!!!

I almost scrolled past because ADHD but I love the idea of asking if it’s more important than 1 2 or 3. Good idea!

For a long time in my life, I only wrote negative things in my journal as a way of taking out all the garbage in my head so I could feel free. There were years I really struggled and constantly bullied myself for everything. The way I thought and wrote about myself and life was so harsh and toxic. I thought journaling this side would benefit me and take all the stress out of my life.
I never realised how toxic it was, and how much a journal has a strong negative impact on my life. It caused more stress and anxiety. Even though I realised all of this the hard way this video still blows my mind. Whenever I'm scared to journal I always come back to this video. ❤

This really does work. Thank you for validating!

I have started marking unforseen, completed tasks with a + (rather than a bullet). Technically, I don't need to write them down anymore (seeing as they're already completed), but they do give me clarity as to why I didn't finish the tasks I had originally planned, helping me keep track of my workload.

(E.g., when you want to start using an app but then you realize you need to install an update first etc. These little things can sometimes take all day and throw your to-do list off course.)

Great ideas! Especially #1 as only priority.

I do the list everyday for years. Funny thing but in the end of the day it gives this feeling of achieving something. Even if those things are just small things.

Thank you Mr. R! Your work has made such a difference in my life. I always wanted to journal, but I really didn’t know how and I have ADHD. I joined your bullet journal school too this year. And, and have been working through the segments and listening to your pop up offerings. It a life changer!

So simple, yet such a great idea. Especially if you work in a field where there are a lot of "fires" that come up ⭐️

I like the updated numbering; I’ve done this for a few months now.

I tried this for a while. The insomnia followed by oversleeping and having no time for anything except getting ready as fast as possible and making it to work for my shift kind of killed it
AS soon as it is a 'daily routine' it becomes problematic for me. And then having a list that I can't make myself complete feeds the negative cycle.

I've started doing something new though - I made up a chart of general tasks, broken down by room and then 'personal' stuff (like cooking a meal from scratch) - and any time I do any of the things on that chart I put a tally mark. Each chart lasts 2 weeks and I am aiming to gradually increase the tally marks without setting myself up for a failure based negative feedback cycle. Bit by bit I'm trying to pattern the basics and it seems to be helping.

Really urgent stuff I always have a note page with reminders on the night before - right next to my alarm clock including a note of what shift i am on so I dont forget (rolling shifts suck btw) - but its not a check-it-off list so much as a way to not forget stuff over night

I do this on my phone in the notes app, it also helps with nedtime anxiety to look at what i did and reset the list for tomorrow

What an incredibly simple concept on an issue that has ruined so many different agendas/methods I've tried before. What a godsend.

This is Ryder Carroll.
THE person who started Bullet Journaling. You should check his channel out. People always try fancy stuff first to be productive but he shows how you can start to be much more productive with literally just pen and paper.
