Should you be doing Bent Over Rows or Pendlay Rows?

Personally, I prefer the Pendlay Rows for strength and Bent Over Rows for hypertrophy.

Both have their place in training, but if you have a specific training goal, one of these might be better suited for you than the other.

I performed the pendlay row in the gym and had multiple people come up to me saying if you can't handle the weight, don't carry it. I was of course, told that just cause I was skinny. I still perform them, now it's just in my home gym. Nothing worse than entitled people interupting my workout.

I'd do my pendlay row with a supination on my grip, kinda like a Dorian Yates' style row but starting from the ground

I do like a combination of both of these. I position myself as if im doing a pendley row, with my back/torso parallel to the floor, and i row the bar without it touching the floor and repping it out

You are doing pendley slightly wrong.
You start the pull with torso parallel to the ground, but as soon as it gets of the floor, your shoulders go up.
They have to stay there, no cheating with hamstrings and glutes.
It is a mistake that we can see as a minor thing on 60 kgs, but with 80 or 90 it will become way more visible.
