It's such a perfect scene. So impeccably acted by the mother, too. And by RDJ also ofc.
The reaching for the handbag. The elevator button not being pressed. "I'm right where I want to be." Perfect.

Both his and her facial expressions in this scene are so fucking amazing.

One of the most important scene in the MCU. Tony stark character was changed after this scene. That's why tony was taking too much care of the spiderman. After losing the spiderman in infinity war he felt the same guilt.

I love how throughout the MCU everyone kept blaming tony for whatever goes down and calls him selfish but at the end of it all he saved all their asses

you can tell Tony is really damaged and ridden with paranoia to the point that he assumes this woman will actually pull a gun on him. He knows he made lots of enemies since Sokovia and tries to wash the guilt away with charity work.

You can see Tony’s pstd kick in when he realizes she hadn’t pressed the elevator button lmao

Alfre Woodard...incredible actor. In a movie for about three minutes and leaves an indelible mark.

Just realized her talking about him killing her son connects to tony saying “I don’t care. He killed my mom.” To cap about Bucky later in the movie. Marvel is so fucking SMART

That lady literally looks like Elizabeth Olsen!

The reason she’s upset was that after they defeated Ultron tony and the avengers got to go home. Her son didn’t. He was just a casualty to tony and that’s why she says his name so that tony never forgets, that he isn’t just a number to add to the death toll. Also him stopping ultron was not avenging him so people saying that she’s wrong for being upset are weird af.

The woman apologizing for the teleprompter, the one who everyone here thinks is Elizabeth Olsen, is Julianna Guill. You are welcome.

1:13 one of my favorite acting moments from Tony - with the look he gives before deciding to leave. For some reason, that always sticks with me.

This would work, however, the son was indeed avenged because Ultron was stopped. It’s odd, however, there would most definitely be people like this in real life, no matter if their family couldn’t be saved or not. It’s angering but it’s very realistic too

The lady that talks about the son dying reminds me of the lady telling iron man about losing her family member during civil war in the comics

This is the best movie in the MCU. Even non-comic book fans can like this movie. It's an actual film, not just a popcorn flick.

She is grateful Luke wasn't there.
Or her crime boss cover would've blown to bits.
