Many people are going to say otherwise but Steve felt torn fighting Tony in the end, you could see it in his eyes. As a result of preventing Tony from murdering Bucky, the Avengers broke apart but Cap was and always was there for any member of the Avengers which is why he told Tony that he would come whenever Tony needs him. That's a true leader right there and that's why this scene is so powerful for me, Tony has been through so much and Steve knows which is why he chose not to answer back when Tony blamed him.

I wish Nebula had more time with Tony. The beginning showed him teaching her fun things like a father should. Something she never got from Thanos.

The most depressing thing about this, is in Spiderman Homecoming, he said "And if I lost you... that'd be on me!" You can tell he was blaming himself..

That little double take where Tony looks at Steve, then back to Nebula is a small but big detail to accent those relationships.

After weeks in space, facing near death, suffering from PTSD, finally reuniting with his wife, and sees Cap for the first time in about two years, and what's the first thing in Tony's mind: Losing Peter. That's how close Tony felt towards someone who he'd viewed as a son.

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I really love that Tony looks back to Nebula at 0:03 like he’s showing appreciation for all of her help. It’s a “you blink and miss it” moment but it’s just so great.

What I love about those lines is that neither one of them took on Thanos alone...but they're such leaders that they feel personally responsible for the loss.

I just noticed just before Pepper shows up, Tony asks "Is ummm..." he was about to ask if she was still alive.

Poor Nebula, 2 people receiving Tony. None to her, she lost everything too.

First watching this in the theater I expected Tony's first words once he got back on earth to be "Where's Pepper?" Or "Is Pepper Okay?" But instead it was "I lost the kid." That just shows how much Tony loved Peter, and how guilty he felt about his death. like he said in Homecoming "If you die I feel like that's on me." And Tony was obviously thinking about Pepper too like we saw in space, but when he get to earth instead of thinking "PepperPepperPepper" He was thinking " The kid should be here with me. I failed to bring him home. His life is over before it began because I failed."

Tony had just been stranded in space, his possibility of survival was about as low as it could get and he just laid eyes on a man he fought war against and yet the only coherent thought running through his head is "I lost the kid". And people still asks why the MCU fandom thinks of Peter as Tony's son. We think of Peter as Tony's son because Tony thinks of Peter as Tony's son.
