Walking empty streets of downtown Washington DC was a quite an experience. I felt the same mixed feeling I had when I walked the streets of NYC a couple of weeks ago. This video is my walk from the historical Dupont Circle to M Street in downtown Washington DC on July 4 around 5pm. Downtown Washington DC streets are empty! Walking empty streets of downtown Washington DC makes one realize the impact of coronavirus pandemic and recent protests. Most businesses are still closed (some boarded up), and residents of the city have either left to work remotely or are mostly staying indoors.

Nice to see Dupont Circle. I lived less than 2 blocks from the circle for over 5 years (moved away a few years ago). I never saw it so quiet on what looks like a nice day. The pandemic has been awful but it certainly looks peaceful/serene in the circle!
