The reality of New York City in 2020 has changed very quickly! This video is part of my 'Walking Empty Streets of New York City' series showing NYC during the lockdown. I walked around empty Upper East Side streets in different directions starting at the E 77th Street station on Lexington Avenue. I continued walking the empty streets turning left at E 87th Street crossing Park and Madison Avenues. I walked back on Museum Mile (5th Avenue) ending my tour at one of the most iconic museums in New York City - The Met. Upper East Side of New York City is as empty as many parts of the city and barely any pedestrians. I almost feel like I can hear my own echo when walking empty streets of New York City during the lockdown. #walkridefly

P.S. You will hear cheering and clapping in the video in support of medical and essential workers who are at the frontlines of the fight against Covid-19.

Another really enjoyable walk. The only plus point at the moment, is to be able to see, and appreciate the streets and buildings, without the crowds. It was heartwarming, to hear the 7pm clapping. Thank you!
