WHEN THE TRUST IS BROKEN

Trust needs time, even years to build, but it can be destroyed in seconds. Trust is very fragile and I'm not sure if it can be rebuilt. And I'm talking only about healthy relationships. If you try on a narcissistic relationship it's just a waste of time. It's like you give the narcissists a gun to shoot you again because they missed killing you the first time.

Once someone abuses you verbally, emotionally, anyway..you cannot trust them...a good human being does not bring pain upon you, whittle down your self-esteem. Their ugly behaviour, malicious tongue, back-biting, being two-faced etc. itself is a betrayal.

It's true. When I had my first child coming out of the hospital with her I took the wrong door and ended up in the other parking. I was exhausted. I finally got ot the car and he yelled at me non stop until we got home. I was so hurt. I was wasting his time he said. As I said before I now call this Time Tyranny. He never really did love bombs. You are correct. I did not want to acknowledge this truth. Forgave my husband and let him return home only to be discarded again. It's much worse then second or third time. Almost destroyed me mentally. But finally I have learned. A bitter lesson

Today, I told my cardiologist I come first, second, third now so he doesn't need to continue to sell me! He wasn't pleased. Oh well! I love advocating for myself and standing up for myself. This man has broken down narcissism down to an absorbable level for the everyday human to consume.
I have watched psychologists explain it and regardless of how eloquently they explain it I do have to return a few times to fully grasp the conversation.
Perhaps my attention span has diminished lol.
I have seen so much of this info I feel like it's on repeat
That isn't a bad thing because it keeps everything fresh in my head and always enjoying these videos.
I have been doing what I can to spread info upon narcissistic behavior but unless someone is willing and accepting of new information then it will fall upon deaf ears.

Stupidly I trusted my ex narc. I feel really unhappy that the trust was shattered by the narc. It's one of the things I have always been very cautious about trusting someone. Now have to start over again. Thankyou Andrew very well said.

On my healing journey I've learned that people have to earn my trust. Trusting is very difficult for me. I've learned that I come first and I can tell if someone just wants to use and or abuse me. I think I could see a narcissist from a mile away. No more will I allow people to 'walk all over me'.

Yea I put all my trust into him, but with time I saw how I couldn't trust him, . he'd just go back to who he was, ...I trusted my gut feeling and got out, thanks Andrew for reminding us and continually educating all of us.💝💝👍👍💡💡💞💞🙏🙏
