I’ve been studying AS and A2 chemistry online for two years now. Haven’t seen as useful video on a particular topic as this video. Great work!

You are a legend. Will you finish all of chem 5 before the exam??

You are an absolute legend!!! Honest! I never understood before why adding alkali shifts the chromate(VI), dichromate(VI) equilibrium to the left but now I do! It makes so much sense!! Thank you for this video, it was an awesome refresher without me having to sit down and go through my flash cards lol

Was actually revising for biology but as soon as I came across your video I put that aside and watched this! Wish you were my teacher. You've helped so many students, thanks ever so much Sir!

Will you do more Chem 5 videos before this year's examinations? You're a lifesaver! I'm left school last year but I am retaking the exam so you are my teacher!

Your videos are great man, thanks alot! The Chem 4 and 5 papers are on the 10th and 15th. Would you be able to do as many Chem 4/5 videos as possible before those dates please? Your videos are my main source of revision cause they're really great. Thanks again.

Just a question about the reaction with Na2Co3 at 26:00. I was checking the balancing of the hydrogens, I count 12 on the left and 15 on the right. Am i missing something obvious here? :)

Could you make a quick list of all the major reactions and catalysts needed, and the results of the different tests. ☺

At 7:33, is it meant to be +3Zn on the left hand side? Very helpful video though, thank you!

What does H+ is in this reaction, the one that reacts with chromate ion to produce dichromate ion in the equilibrium equation?
Thank you so much for your help

At 20:30, you say the OH- reaction is a ligand substitution reaction. How can you distinguish between base reactions and ligand sub reactions when they give the exact same products ?

Great video. There is just one thing that has confused me, @17.54 after multiplying the left and right sides of the equation by 3 and 2 respectively, why did you readd the 2OH- ? Thanks in advance

Does it matter which way round you put the H2O and the OH and the NH3 ligands when writing out complexes?
Thanks!
