This video runs through the true basics of the atom, protons neutrons and electrons, their relative mass and charges and how we arrived at it. We move on to how to read the periodic table what an ion and isotope is and then round the first half off with the definition of relative atomic mass and how to calculate molecular mass (Mr)

In the second half of the video we move onto the electron configuration side of things, Energy levels sub shells orbitals the lot. arrows in boxes and of course the bus seating rule.
